God show me the way because the Devil's trying to break me down. The only thing that I pray is that my feet don't fail me now. And I don't think there's nothing I can do now to right my wrongs, I wanna talk to god but I'm affraid cause we aint spoke in so longI've dealt with my ghosts and I've faced all my demons. Finally content with a past I regret. For once I'm at peast with myself. I've been burdened with blame and trapped and my past for too long. I'm movin on. At last I can see that life has been waiting patiently for me. There comes a time in every man's life when all you can see are the years passing by. And I have made up my mind that those days are gone.

A random rant/life update...Enjoy!

Well, not a whole lot is going on here.  I went to a hockey game on Sunday which was pretty cool.  There was almost a fight in the stands (which would have been way cooler than the fight on the ice!).  I love my tutoring jobs, really they are sweet gigs, good money, short hours...the goal of every American, right?  I am 6-0 in Fantasy Football right now...proving once again that I know football.  Suprisingly my ex-girlfriend isn't in dead last in our league (she's 3-3 where as the team "can't be touched" is 1-5...mildly ironic, don't you think?).  I will be coming back to MD for about 7 or 8 days towards the end of the year.  I think I am in town the 27th of December through the 5th of January, or something like that.  Which means I need to find a place to celebrate new year's!  Gas prices are plummeting here.  Can anyone tell me what they are back in MD?  I'm paying about $2.40 a gallon (which is a hell of a lot better than $3.35).  Hmmm...gas prices are plummeting, the US is allegedly safer from terrorist attacks, and GW isn't taking any of Kim Jong Il's crap, all of these are playing well for The Governator!  I will take great pride in voting against him this time around.  And let's face it...if the North Korean's unleash nuclear terror on US soil...they would most likely hit LA or Hollywood...and would we really miss those places?  Teach them to make a profit off of 9/11!  Anywho, before I get going on a political rant aimed at both stupid republicans and whiny democrats (note the adjectives used are interchangeable in my mind), I must dirges b/c I have to go to "work".  I say "work" b/c I really don't do much of anything...I LOVE IT!

Ok...here we go:
I got thechinese characters for fire and  ice on my biceps (I'll e-mail ya pics later) and a cross on my calf with the words "I will never let you down"  around it.  We sold the CRV thinkin we could buy a car out here w/that money.  UNfortunately for my dad (fortunately for me) for it to be on his insurance it has  to be bought in MD...but we found that out after selling the CRV, so we got a newer car.  And as f ar as  that water question goes...I do history not science

Life update fpr JZ...

Well, life in CA isn't bad at all.  I have lost a lot of weight (still have to lose more, but I am getting there).  I am driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla (it is so beautiful).  I just went to get my 3rd tattoo done on Monday (it is a cross on the back of my calf with the words "I will never let you down" written around it").  My love life is pretty screwed up, but such is life.  I've moved on from Wendy (the girl that skipped town on me).  Work is good.  I have a sweet gig tutoring the kids of a history professor one town over (it pays $15 an hour!).  I would be willing to get my cell phone number is old, so e-mail me an I'll update it for you.  My e-mail is intothegila@yahoo.com  for those who don't know the Gila is a region of New Mexico (where I did my 6 weeks of backpacking).  My trip there changed my life completely and it holds a very special place in my heart now.  I am back in karate (taking it through the college...very cheap).  I have been lifting lately, trying to get myself in shape.  My upper body is average, but my calfs are borderline freakishly strong (I have done 765 on the calf raise but that wasn't my max).  Well, I have to go get some work done before class, so I shall write more later on.  Does that answer all your questions JZ?  Oh, and congrats on the lady friend.  Aint love great?  Now it's your turn to update me on your life!

The perfect woman

When I was younger I had a list of qualities I wanted in a woman.  Now I am down to sane and stable. That's all...sane and stable.  I'd even settle for stable and harmlessly insane!  Wendy, my girlfriend, moved to Nevada.  On Sunday she was talking about it, on Monday she said everything was fine and she wasn't, last night I heard...from my boss that she had moved.  WTF?  I just hope she's ok.  I don't fault her for moving, it's what she felt she needed to do to better her life...I just want a phone call or something to let me know she's ok.  In other news, the Navy wants me to join their nuclear program.  Most of you who read this might not know me...but math, science, and electronics...not my forte.  But hey, they want to pay me lots of money (that's a relative "lots" since I have no family to support and would have no rent to be paid), and are willing to train me what I need to know.  Raide your hand if you can picture me in the Navy! *raises hand*  And I would enlist at E-3 and be promoted to E-4 once I finish the 1st 6 months of my nuclear training.  I just need to drop the weight, sign the papers, and then it's anchors aweigh!
